Inter-terminal transportation

Shuttle buses are available from the terminals to the parking garages (Economy parking, Satellite Lot, Rental Cars) and also to the Metrorail.




By the Metrorail it is possible to get to Virginia, Washington and Maryland from DCA Airport since it connects with Terminals B and C concourse.

To get to the station from Terminal A it is possible to take any of the available airport shuttle buses.

Metrobus is a service operated operated by Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).

Available bus routes: Express Airport 5A and B30.

Please note that the buses run during weekend mornings or before the metro service has started.

Get within 10 minutes to Washington DC from DCA Airport.

Taxi dispatchers are located outside the baggage claim of both terminals.

Expect a fare of between $15-$20 for a one-way trip to downtown.

There are different shuttle buses at the airport that run to all parking garages (A, B and C), the Terminal Metro, the Economy Parking or the Rental Car Garage Parking.

There is also a shuttle bus service that goes to the Employee Parking.




DCA Airport connects with the U.S. Route 1 through the Airport Viaducte (Route 233).
